Montgomery County Youth Field Day

The planning for the 2008 youth Field Day has started. The location will again be Camp Kweebec in Schwenksville PA.

The date is October 11, 2008, 07:30 AM until 04:30 PM.

The event is limited to 200 children, so don't delay registering!

Here is a list of events that are planned:

• Fishing
• .22 Rifle
• Archery
• Fun Run
• Black Powder Rifle
• Boating
• Shotgun
• Trapping

Safety is always a first priority at an event like this. We ask that you keep this in mind and encourage your child to listen to the instructions at each station.

We encourage any parent who wishes to help with the event to click on the Volunteer link and let us know. We can use you somewhere, even if you can't stay for the entire day.

Bike Raffle

This year we will again have a bike raffle. Tickets will be on sale for the raffle in the lunch area.

Wildlife Print Raffle

The wildlife print raffle will also be held in the lunch area. You do not have to be present to win.

Please see the photographs of the prints. These are beautiful, framed prints that are ready to be hung.

How To Get Raffle Tickets

Tickets for both the bike and wildlife print raffles will be available on the day of the event. In addition, various Youth Field Day volunteers will be selling them at local sportsmen's club meetings.

Tickets are $5.00 each or three of a type for $10.00.

Email requests should include:

• Your name
• Mailing address
• Phone number
• The type of tickets: bike, wildlife, or both
• The number of each type of ticket

You will receive email instructions on sending payment for the tickets.
